DaddyBall Detector works with GameChanger stats exports, screenshots of your team's stats, or manual player entry. Export your stats from GameChanger via Team → Stats → Export, then import the CSV file in the app.
The score is a weighted composite across five components: batting order, fielding position, bench decisions, playing time, and pitching innings. Components with no available data are excluded and the remaining weights redistribute proportionally. A higher score indicates more evidence of preferential treatment toward the coach's children.
The "Parse Screenshots with AI" feature uses Claude AI to extract player names and stats from GameChanger screenshots. For best results, use clear, full-screen screenshots of the stats view. You can select multiple screenshots at once — the app will merge them automatically.
Screenshot parsing is rate-limited to 10 analyses per day per device to keep the service available for everyone.
The app supports GameChanger's standard stats CSV export. The file must include a "Player" column. All other columns (AVG, OBP, SLG, ERA, IP, etc.) are optional — missing stats default to zero and the score adjusts accordingly.
The algorithm requires meaningful stat gaps to fire — small differences between players don't trigger findings to avoid false positives. If your CSV has limited data (few plate appearances, missing columns), the Confidence Score will reflect that uncertainty.
Yes. Use "Enter Lineup Manually" to add players by name only. In manual mode, the score is based on positional representation and batting order proportionality rather than individual stats. Confidence is capped at 45% in this mode.
